Our new found hobby

The kids and I went apple picking again this past Monday. I took a ridiculous amount of pictures! I also used this time to play around with the lighting on my camera (hence the # of pics). In doing that not all of the pictures came out great, so it took awhile to sort through them and edit them. Going to the orchard has quickly become our new favorite fall outing. I am learning to be flexible enough to pick up and go when we have a nice day rather than try to plan a specific time to go, which is inevitably rained out. The kids have discovered the wonderful experience of eating an apple freshly picked by their own hands while savoring every bite. It doesn't take long for us to fill up half a bushel, given that most of the trees are dwarf sized allowing little hands to do most the picking.

Looking for that perfect apple
to sink her teeth into.
Group picture...as good as it gets,
no perfect poses here
And why do I try???
Mom's over here, Luke!

Luke - excited he's big enough too!
Walking through the orchard, hand-in-hand :
our afternoon can't get better than this!

  1. How fun! I love all of these photos. No wonder you couldn't pick. I love them all. Maybe someday we can make it out there and go apple picking with you. :)
