MOM!!! I picked you a flower!

A few days ago, my dear Nathaniel, came running in the house yelling, "Mom, I picked you a flower!!!" He was so excited and proud to give me this gift that he had found all by himself. Of course, you can picture what he came running in with, not just the flower, but the whole plant. He picked me a stunning peony. They grow up in single stalks so when he tried to pick the flower the whole stalk came out...pretty cute! Actually he melted my heart.

And did I mention how amazingly fragrant these beauties are? Wow!! They smell heavenly!
