Get Well Grandpa Ingalls!!!!!!!!!!

Here's to you Dad! We love you sooooooo much and really want you to feel better. We thought it would be fun to make some cards. Since I'm not sure how quickly I can get them to you, we decided to make a post about our evening.

Luke is for the first time really trying to stay somewhere

close to the lines. He was very proud of his artwork!

Noah put a lot of detail into his picture

and also the most sincere well wish.

Nathaniel did the drawing and

writing all by himself!!

Cari put a lot of thought into the technique of her picture.

Luke's finished card..aren't those balloons beautiful?

Nathaniel, of course, had to draw

'nature' for Grandpa. At the bottom

of the tree are snails and slugs, his

absolute favorite.

Noah put surprising detail into his

picture. On the bottom left corner

is Noah skyping Grandpa with Luke

standing next to the chair. Dad is in

the background on the bed, because

he's been sick this week. Then on

the right is Grandpa in his hospital

bed holding his computer skyping.

Then Cari drew Grandpa in his hospital

bed, complete with the oxygen tubes

in the nose. She took her time thinking

the design through.

This was a great activity to do with the kids. Being so far away, we feel the distance. We wish we could be there to visit, but since we can't we are sending our love and prayers your way. Dad the kids, Rob and I are all praying for you!!!
