Amusement

Back in September (yes it's been that long since I have posted :), Rob's worked had a family fun day for the employees and their beloved.  We told the kids we had a surprise for them.  They had no clue where we were going or what was to come.  When we pulled in they about fell over.  Since we don't get out much, they are very easy to please.  In fact they repeatedly thanked Rob, rather loudly, throughout the entire visit. They didn't dare risk any bad behaviors to ruin such a wonderful day.  Rob and I just grinned and gave one another a thankful look that they didn't know what an actual amusement park looked like...or we could have had some disappointment on our hands.  This Fun Center was a perfect introduction to amusement-like fun.  Maybe they will still be awed when we actually can go to a real park....like Disney World.

First up the choo-choo train roller coaster.  Luke was so excited, but had no idea that a roller coaster didn't just chug along.  The other kids thought that was the scariest ride ever!  Told you - they are easy to please!  This mini-coaster was quite the ride.

Take a good look at Luke's face.

"Luke, did you like that train?"
"No I didn't!  It was toooooo fast!"

Next up, one of those spinney rides that makes Rob vomit and me nostalgic.  I would have been on this one, had it not been for back surgery.  I used to love these!!

It took the kids awhile to figure out they could spin themselves from the middle.

Another ride, going round and round, not for the weak stomachs!

This is one that goes up and bounces down, making them feel like they are falling.

How far up are we?

Rock climbing, a favorite.

Nathaniel made it to the top, not surprising.

Noah did not.  He doesn't like being up so high with just a rope
holding him.  Smart kid!

Cari was the only one big enough (barely, on her tippy toes) to go
solo with the go carts.  Can you see her pride?

And Luke being the smallest could still fit with Dad. Lucky!

Installing vampire teeth.

Vampire teeth have never looked so cute!

Luke found a train he liked.  It didn't move.

Trying to figure out the hula-hoops.

Big, blow-up slide...just what we need, or a bounce house!

What a better way to end the day than with a snow cone?

We certainly had a family fun-filled day!

PASSED OUT!!!!
