The cake

 I will have to say this is by far the most interesting birthday cake I have ever made.  It began with me asking the question, "Nathaniel, what kind of cake would you like?"  Expecting nothing but something different he says, "Carrot cake, homemade".  Okay, I can handle that.  Well while at the country store in Grabill (we call it the Amish store), I give Nathaniel a choice.  I tell him to pick one container of candy to decorate his cake.  Out of the hundreds of candies like gummy bears, gummy worms, Lego candy, chocolates...you get the point, he choose gummy eggs over easy.  What????  My dad and I try to show him different options, but he wasn't going to have it.  He wanted eggs.  So carrot cake and eggs is what he got.  I highly doubt I will ever see a cake like this again :)
