Cari's actual birthday was quite a busy day. There were two events at school we wanted to be at, so rather than the traditional birthday cake, Rob found something different that didn't require baking. What is it, you ask? He found a little cotton candy machine. We figured it would be fun to try, something completely different. The birthday girl liked the idea, so move over cake!

Just about done. I forgot to snap photos of everyone enjoying it, but make no mistake we all loved it.
It was decided that this would be an outside activity from now on because our kitchen was covered in a layer of cotton candy when we were done. Thankfully it wasn't too hard to clean up.
