We had a very busy week last week. Rob's sister and brother n'law came up to visit with their two boys. We had 6 kids in the house, 5 of which were boys all 5yrs and under. We had a very lively household. The cousins enjoyed getting to play with each other. In a few years, the boys are going to be quite a bunch when they get together. They left Wed. morning and we dove into school again. Although our school week was short, it was long.

Nathaniel had his first day of preschool on Thurs. and loved it. He told me he only cried once. Rob said he had one single tear on his cheek and then decided to tough it out. He knows several of the little ones from church, so it wasn't too intimidating.

Noah continues to love soccer and seems to really grasp the idea of a team. He seems as though he will be a natural defender (like his mom). It has brought us great joy to watch him run out onto the field with so much enthusiasm.

Cari had her first ballet class on Thurs. She really enjoyed it and told me she did remember a few things from when she had done ballet before. Her teacher seems very structured and watches to make sure they are using proper form. She will have her first tap class on Mon.

Lots of firsts this week. This week has also felt like the first week of fall. It seems early, but we will wait and see if it will warm up again. Well I better quit talking and start folding my endless pile of laundry.
