Missing Tooth!

Noah lost his first tooth Sunday evening, while he was supposed to be 'falling asleep'. He could no longer resist the urge to wiggle, wiggle and wiggle until it came loose. He came into my room gleaming from ear to ear! Cari was still awake and shared his excitement. They quickly began discussing the plans of the tooth fairy. When would she come? How would she give him money and take the tooth without him waking? Well he was informed by mother-dear that the tooth fairy would not visit unless he was far off in dream land. He took the hint and decided he better hit the pillow. The next morning much to his surprise he found $2 under his pillow. The first tooth yields a high reward! We all were very excited, except for Nathaniel, who determined this was "no fair!!!" Reassuring him that his time would come, was not exactly the greatest comfort.

See Mom!!!

How exciting!! (with the exception of one little grump)

Luke thought it was appropriate to make phone calls, telling everyone of this event.

Cari was, well, just happy to a point of silliness!

And yes...here is the 4 year old grump... who has decided that 90% of life is "NOT FAIR!!!"
(I guess he is learning early what an imperfect world this is.)
