Happy 9th Birthday Cari Fay!!

This past Tuesday, we were blessed to celebrate Cari Fay's 9th birthday! She was very excited to start the day with presents.

She received several cards.

She even got a pair of PJs for her

American Girl, Elizabeth. She had

been given Elizabeth a few months

ago as an early birthday gift.

And we got her an ice cream maker...a real one...her

first kitchen appliance. She loves doing things in the

kitchen. She can't wait to take over my place! Luke is

sure excited about having an ice cream maker in the house.

Here is our first attempt at a birthday

cake. Since it was a bit of a flop, we

decided to have it after lunch and try

something else for later. We certainly tried!

Cari decided that ice cream sandwiches

would make a good birthday desert.

With homemade ice cream, you can't go wrong.

They were yummy!!!


Usually when the kids get birthday money, they decide
to share with each other. This birthday was no exception.
Cari, being the sweetheart that she is, bought the boys
along with herself a bottle pop...a very rare treat.
They enjoyed every bit of it!


Isn't she growing into such a
beautiful young lady(? )!!!

We are incredibly blessed to have Cari Fay as our beautiful daughter. She has given us an amazing 9 years and we look forward to many more to come! We love you Cari!!
